Michael L. Ewald, Architect LLC has been providing professional Architecture, Engineering and Planning services for clients since the firm's inception in 2005. Past and present projects range from renovation of existing facilities to new construction projects. Below are a few of the current / featured projects being performed by Michael L. Ewald, Architect and Architect Mike Ewald.
Galatia CUSD No. 1
Michael L. Ewald, Architect LLC serves as the District Architect for Galatia Community Unit Schools. Architect Mike Ewald assists the District with new construction, renovation, maintanance, compliance and planning needs for the District's facilities. Current projects include HVAC systems for two computer labs, HVAC for the Galatia High School Gymnasium and Remodeling of the Galatia Elementary School Gymnasium.
Michael L. Ewald, Architect LLC is assisting MotoRad with renovations to maximize Shipping and Receiving capabilities related to current and anticipated future growth. MotoRad is a leader in the after-market automotive parts industry and continues to increase it's market share. MotoRad's success has resulted in the need for recent increased Shipping and Receiving facilities as well as considering the need for future Office and Warehousing space. Architect Mike Ewald is assisting with the first phase expansion this summer.
Renovations will begin in May 2020 and be complete by July 1, 2020.
Galatia Gymnasium Renovations
Michael L. Ewald, Architect LLC is assisting Galatia CUSD No. 1 with renovations to the Galatia Elementary School Gym and an HVAC Replacement project at the Galatia High School Gym. The High School Gym HVAC Renovations will replace steam boiler heating with forced air heating and cooling. The Elementary School Gym Renovations will remove obsolete built-in bleachers with storage rooms below and will install new 4-tier wooden bleachers. New basketball standards and various associated upgrades are also part of the project.
Construction is underway and will be complete prior to the start of the fall semester in mid-August.
Hoyleton UMC Restoration
Michael L. Ewald, Architect LLC teamed with Shores Builders of Centralia for a Design-Build project delivery for the restoration and renovation of the Hoyleton United Methodist Church of Christ. The church was extensively damaged following a lightning strike and devastating fire. The work included re-building the extensive interior wood trim, installinga steeple reaching 100 feet into the air and re-glazing stained glass windows.
