Current / Featured Projects

EWALD Architects LLC has been providing professional Architecture, Engineering and Planning services for clients since the firm's inception in 2005.  Past and present projects range from renovation of existing facilities to new construction projects.  Below are a few of the current / featured projects being performed by Architect MIke Ewald and EWALD Architects, LLC. 

Eldorado CUSD No. 4

EWALD Architects LLC assisted Eldorado CUSD No. 4 with several projects including An Outdoor Classroom Pavilion, New Elementary School Entrance Canopies, and a Fitness Center Addition to the Duff-Kingston Gym.  The various projects are were completed in 2022.  

MotoRad of America

EWALD Architects LLC is assisting MotoRad of America with renovations to maximize Shipping and Receiving capabilities related to current and anticipated future growth.  MotoRad is a leader in the after-market automotive parts industry and continues to increase it's market share.  MotoRad's success has resulted in the need for recent increased Shipping and Receiving facilities.  Architect Mike Ewald is coordinating the comprehensive conversion of a 58,000 SF former retail building into new MotoRad Warehouse Space.

Galatia Gymnasium Renovations 

EWALD Architects LLC recently assisted Galatia CUSD No. 1 with renovations to the Galatia Elementary School Gym and an HVAC Replacement project at the Galatia High School Gym.  The High School Gym HVAC Renovations replaced steam boiler heating with forced air heating and cooling.  The Elementary School Gym Renovations removed obsolete built-in bleachers with storage rooms below and installed new 4-tier wooden bleachers.  New basketball standards and various associated upgrades are also part of the project.  Additional projects being undertaken include a new gym floor, air conditioning and pitched roof construction at Galatia HS and HVAC improvements and tuckpointing at Galatia Elementary.

Hoyleton Zion Evangelical UCC

EWALD Architects LLC teamed with Shores Builders of Centralia for a Design-Build project delivery for the restoration and renovation of the fire-damaged Hoyleton Zion Evangelical United Church of Christ.  The church was extensively damaged following a lightning strike and devastating fire.  The work included re-building the sanctuary, including the extensive interior wood trim, installing a fiberglass steeple reaching 100 feet into the air and restoring stained glass windows.

Harrisburg Unit #3 Schools

EWALD Architects LLC assisted Harrisburg Unit #3 Schools with a New Fieldhouse Facility and Comprehensive HVAC Upgrades at 3 schools.  The various projects were completed in 2022.
