| Architect Michael Ewald to review Federal Fire Station Grant Program Applications |
| Architect Michael Ewald will be one of 52 technical review panelists assembled in Baltimore, MD July 27- 31 to review Fire Station Construction Grant applications on behalf of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). The Fire Station Construction Grant was created by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) of 2009. Congress has approved $210 million for fire station construction and renovation projects for fiscal year 2009. |
| Michael L. Ewald, Architect has been retained by the Town of Chandler to provide a Physical Needs Assessment to assist the Town in determining future fire station improvements for the department. The assessment will evaluate the existing station facilities as well as new construction options on new sites. A product of the assessment will be a preliminary design layout for the improvements and estimates of probable construction costs. |
