| New Fire Station Projects Michael L. Ewald, Architect has been retained to provide the design for two New Fire Station facilities in southwestern Indiana. The two projects will total approximately $5 million dollars in new construction. The projects are exploring funding sources before moving forward. Haven Pentecostal Church Construction began in February 2010 on the 13,800 square foot New Family Life Center for Haven Pentecostal Church in Henderson, Kentucky. New Training Facility for EFD Construction is nearly complete on a New Training Classroom Building for the Evansville Fire Department in Evansville, Indiana. The building is located on the existing training tower site A dedication ceremony is planned for June 16. Building Addition for Wabash Container Corp. Michael L. Ewald, Architect has been contracted to provide professional services for a 10,000 square foot addition to the existing Wabash Container Corporation production and warehouse facility in Mt. Carmel, Illinois. Fairlawn United Methodist Church Michael L. Ewald, Architect has been retained to provide professional services for a New Fellowship Hall Addition to the Existing Fairlawn UMC facility in Evansville, IN. Renovations to the John Rhine House Michael L. Ewald, Architect is providing professional Architecture/Engineering services for extensive renovations to the historic John Rhine House in Mt. Carmel, IL. The renovations to the 1890's era home include new bathrooms, a third floor bedroom suite and central air conditioning. The project is being designed to preserve the home's unique character. .ARRA Fire Station Construction Grants Architect Mike Ewald was one of 52 technical review panelists assembled in Baltimore, MD in July 2009 to review and evaluate Fire Station Construction Grant applications on behalf of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). |
